We will enjoy a lovely & delicious catered banquet meal and some beautiful Christmas music from well-known local pianist, Linda Shade.

Pastor’s Bible Study

Join Pastor Hess for a time of Bible study each week. We share insights about our study and have a time to share prayer concerns.  Guests are welcome to visit any Wednesday!

Men’s Bible Study

Study of Doctrine - Join Brandon Pinkerton for this study on church doctrine. Covering subjects such as: The Trinity, Incarnation, Creation, Sin, Jesus’ Death, The Resurrection.

10 - 12 weeks, Room 207

Worship Choir

Adult Choir leads in praise and worship weekly during the Sunday morning service.  Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm. The choir also sings at special events throughout the year, including Easter, Christmas,4th of July, etc. Additional rehearsals are scheduled to prepare for these events. No audition is required.

Celebrate Recovery Step Studies

A new Men’s group and a new Women’s group is beginning on Wednesday Aug. 27 and can be joined for several weeks.  This in-depth Bible Study is the heart of the CR ministry.  You will develop lifelong friends as you travel the road of recovery with

other men & women.  The Celebrate Recovery curriculum is based on the beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount.  These Biblical principles lead to healing from life’s hurts, hang-ups and habits. New Step Studies begin year round and happen on other days and nights of the week as well as Wednesdays.  This study is a nine months to one year commitment and regular attendance is required. See CR info kiosk in lobby on Sundays or Friday nights for details and rooms.

English as a Second Language

Open to all who wish to learn English.  Several levels offered. Not sure which level you need? No problem, we have an evaluation meeting to help you determine the level best for you.

Men — Common Ground

Common Ground meets Thursday mornings from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. in The Meeting Room near the Gym. Come be a part of this exciting new fellowship and use this weekly opportunity to foster personal relationships with other Christian men.

In our Sunday LifeGroups we focus on Growing in Christ and knowing others. Please visit us anytime, guests can come to the Welcome Center in the main lobby to choose a LifeGroup to attend and be escorted to the classroom.

Folks have described our Sunday Worship as . . . Inspiring, Encouraging, Motivating, Relevant, Casual Atmosphere, A Safe Place, A Place to Belong. But don’t take our word for it, come and experience the healing power of God for yourself. Our worship kicks off with upbeat and exciting music lead by our worship praise team, choir, band and orchestra, followed by a few brief announcements and a welcome. We continue to worship through song as we center our hearts on God. Then our pastor shares a message from the Bible that is not only easy to understand, but also practical.

Our MidWeek CommUnity time begins each Wednesdsay with CommUnity Café serving from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. (small meal cost) Come fellowship around the tables at dinner time, then participate in a weekly Bible Study or class. Children and Youth have activates as well during this time. Take this journey with others toward spiritual maturity through study, worship, and service to others.

Our Children’s and Student Ministry are a great place for children to meet friends and grow spiritually.

Greenhouse Preschool Ministry seeks to serve children ages birth through Pre-K.

Orchard Children’s Ministry seeks to help children K - 6th grade discover Christ thought the FRUITS of our labor: Fun, Relationships, Unconditional Love, Integrity, Theology, and Service

Roots Student Ministry - "Growing Youth to Life" for students 7th – 12th grade. @shbcroots.

Celebrate Recovery Ministry - We can all benefit from God’s healing power and grace! On Friday Nights come spend time together and Celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through studying the Eight Recovery Principles based on the Beatitudes from the Bible. Everyone can enjoy a fellowship meal at 6:00 then there’s a place for all ages, kids through adults, at 7:00 p.m.
