December Offering Goal is $300,000
Our giving is critical to the success of our mission. The FIRST 15% of EVERY dollar given in December goes to these Mission Points:
- International Missions - 55% will go to support the work of Southern Baptist missionaries in countries around the world, including those that are closed to the Gospel. 1% of this will go to World Hunger.
- Ghana Mission Outreach - 20% will go to assist our sister church in Ghana, West Africa.
- North American Missions - 5% will go to support missionaries who serve on North American soil.
- Tulsa - 20% will be used locally. 5% will go to support the Tulsa Ministry Center, and 15% will replenish the ShareFund (SHBC benevolence fund).
After the first 15%, your offerings will go to finish the year strong in support of our church and the vision to see lives transformed daily in Christ. The need and opportunity for ministry in our city has never been greater. Even though the economy continues to drag, our giving must not. In fact, the more you give, the more you invite God into your personal finances. That’s the very place where you will see Him do amazing things IF you are willing to let go and let God work.

Engage in 2013
Our theme for 2013 … ENGAGE.
En-gage: to attract and keep someone’s interest or attention; to bind oneself to do something.
When Jesus prayed for you and me he said, “I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one... Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world.” (John 17:15, 18)
When things get crazy, it makes us want to step away from the world, yet, Jesus says just the opposite- He sends us INTO THE WORLD, not away from it. In 2013, more than ever before, let’s ENGAGE! Engage in relationships with those who need Christ. Engage in service to demonstrate the love of Christ to those who don’t know Him.
We look forward to this challenge to “engage” and pray you will join us too! Worship Service every Sunday morning at 10:30, LifeGroup hour for all ages at 9:15, and Wednesdays at 6:30 pm too!
