Men's Ministry
The men's ministry is in the business of building men into wholly-developing followers of Christ; challenging men to live lives of servant-hood, selflessness, and submission. Part of our strategy for developing men of faith is by providing opportunities through which men actually practice these core values and virtues before the church, our community, and our families. SHBC’s men’s fellowship--Body Builders--teaches how to become brothers walking hand-in-hand for Christ and how to deal with daily conflicts and struggles the world brings. Men’s Fraternity – The Great Adventure
Friday Mornings at 6:15 – 7:30 a.m. in SHBC’s Game Room
The Great Adventure explores a man and his world beyond the everyday. The 20-session study puts the roof on the house of masculinity and creates a vision for a man's future and destiny. This study will help men rediscover the adventure in life through a greater understanding of who they are. Men will uncover the uniqueness they have as a man and discover a satisfying life focus.
It will challenge men to consider several important questions they are continually asking themselves: "Who am I?" "What are my life dreams in life?" and "Do I have courage to pursue those dreams?" Contact person: Doug Osborn. E-mail him a dosborn@oberlender.com
